We have always advised couples to organize date nights as often and as beautifully as possible – and while it is definitely important to have the right music, the most delicious foods and a good wine by your side, remember that it is also crucial to dress right for your date night too.

You don’t have to wear something new. If it makes you feel better, then yes, sure, go ahead and buy something new for your special date night. However, keep in mind that new clothes can feel slightly uncomfortable – and comfort should be one of your first criteria when spending time with your loved one.
Wear your “magic” clothes. We all have them – a pair of jeans that looks really great on us, a button-down shirt that makes us feel amazingly handsome or a dress that makes us look really feminine. If you have “lucky clothes”, then go ahead and wear them for your date night.
Be adequate to the location. Do you plan on going to a fancy restaurant? Do your research and see just how elegant it is. In general, it is a good idea to keep it within the elegant-casual limits (e.g. a casual evening dress or a pair of jeans, a blouse and a pair of heels). If you plan on having a date night at home, it is always great if you keep it casual, but very nice and good-looking.
